Everyda' Anti -Procrastination Day '

Sorted stationery items....pencils of all varieties on Earth are found under our roof. Do I
really need them? I have managed successfully to send them to the right place, without relocating in the house. Thank God I could finally do that. Marker pens(again all varieties),sharpeners, stencils, erasers of different sizes and shapes,pens.......all are brought to one plastic box with different drawers, with labels.I dont have to buy any stationery for a long period.I REALISED IT ONLY NOW. It is a simple task but has brought a lot of orderliness.with a sense of accomplishment. Newly arranged stationery stand, stands with pride next to the Binding Box which contains cello tapes, stapler, office pins, clips , thumb pins...any thing and everything that holds papers together. It feels great to provide right  place  to right things at the right time. Things neither have to be thrown into the dustbin, nor have to be clutter at home.    dustbin is not the only destination.

Detoxifying the house takes little time. After all we didnt collect all the clutter on one single day. BUT am I thinking of detoxifying the body? Slight pain in my knuckels is the first warning to me to be prepared to bear the rhuematic pains,. Yes Arthritis is a curse , but let me positive, .and follow the precautions..So, tomorrow I am going to take only liquids; water and bottle gourd juice. Yes it sounds awful but it does so well to get rid of toxins from my body. Thanks to Naturopathy.

Preparing notes and question papers gives me the satisfaction of being a professional. Tomorrow I  must watch a Shakesperean movie.

I must see how much I love myself!!!!!with water and bottle gourd juice.....!!!!!

Lost ten KGs just in ten minutes!!!!1

I can't believe it. How can I BE SOOO lazy? Shame on me  ,.Why do I procrastinate ? I kept delaying things for days. perhaps newly found liesure made me lethargic. So friends I once again start my blog. welcome aboard.

Wondering how I Imanaged to lose weight instantly. If I  can,so can you. All you have to do is take a trash bag, move around the house. While you walk in the house, fill the bag,of course ...trash bag, with ' CAN BE RELEASED' items . Just try it out....  you will wonder why those unwanted things were preserved.

I filled the bag with those broken toys, faded pencil boxes which i considered as my childs kindergarten memories.,old magazines , biscuit tins.empty bottles (I have many for,,,, just in case.....needs).so on and so forth.

Hey wait a minute... You can even take another bag to fill it with the things to be donated  like, clothes, books etc. As winter is set in ,have a look at your warm clothes closet.May be you have many sweaters which are not trendy, smaller to your current size, you dont like it any more...... but .....simply stuffed  inyour wardrobe. Why dont you  pack them neatly and donate?  Where there is a will there is a way. If   you dont find any  individual who can accept yr contribution ,leave the baggage with the organisations that care for the under previleged.

Friends this not only reduces the excess weight of your house ,but also lets in positive thought and energy.

Do I have to say the secret behind my(  today"s ) positive energy!!!

Happiness is Home Made 2...!

So, here we go...

So, once again, an old discarded wooden box...pasted my favorite pictures from old magazines, nailed the box inside the wardrobe door. And hung those antique, beautiful, loyal sets which I enjoyed wearing for Garbha Dances in Gujrat in the early 90s.

My jewels are safe in an air-tight box announcing their existence, but unseen...

Happiness Is Home Made

It was right to take a break and to go on a visit to Dubai!
NO doubt, Shopper's Paradise!!  Got tempted to buy a lot of "junk" jewelery!   Yes, this is the sign that I am aging. In early forties, a feeling of Forever 21!

Thanks to those bubbly cheerful girls (my dearest students!!) who kept me also bubbly and cheerful always!

At the height of boredom, I have done a little bit of organizing today.
An old discarded belt hanger turns gracefully into a............

So I say, Happiness Is Home Made!

Bad Hair Day...

When did we last pamper our hair with granny's home remedies? No wonder every day is a bad hair day.
It is rightly called HAIR - The Crowning Glory of a Woman. If not a lot of attention, we need be kind enough to let the hair be free from the torture of chemicals, at least once in a while. But do we have the time and energy for those cherished oil massage, arita (soap nuts), henna, amla, eggs, bath powder, lemon etc.

Plateful of age old remedies served in Granny's 100 year old Brass thali served just for you all. oops, where is the hibiscus?

On this weekend, find out how much you like your hair...

Have a happy hair day!

Watch TV but wisely...

Stay Tuned to Nature

Wonderful activities are happening around us. Caught up as we are in the hurly-burly of our daily existence, we don't make the effort to observe.
When did we last pay attention to the full moon or the millions of the twinkling stars? One of the reasons for our discontentment is our alienation from nature. To renew civilization and to evolve spiritually, it is necessary for us to be friends with birds...animals...trees...stars...

Lets Revive Ourselves...

WORDS ………...WORDS………..WORDS……………When are they going to turn into action.

I wrote in my first blog that this is going to last for long……. but……. what  a hectic day?  Will I be able to write today!!!! ?  Is the work which I started to feel relaxed, adding to my tension?   oops  how much of  work?…. Cooking, cleaning, grinding, washing…… so on and on and on.

Yes, I did say “ I can do this, I can do that” then  I should show it.  Hey I think I got my today’s  topic words…….words……..words.

Where action is needed, words are nothing different from trash.  See the paradox.  Words are the greatest gift to us;  at the same time they are the greatest hindrance to our progress, because ….action is required….. not the words.

However vigorous, however forceful, however convincing, however mesmerizing, words are, still helpless in their ability to produce results.   Results can be brought about only by action.

Talk won’t give us success.
Words won’t give us success.
Only action will.
So no more words….. let me get into action…….cooking, cleaning……..
I am sooooo  happy to see the number of viewers increasing.

Stay calm...quiet... cool...

Hi everybody, especially teachers, parents and those hardworking (I'm sure none of you are hardly working...) students...
Its a crucial time verifying the grades, arranging the funds, and of course worrying about admissions. Lets respect each student as an individual with unique potential. Hey! Stop those senseless comparisons!

Lets encourage the youngsters to give their best in any field they choose.
I'd like to remind you all the famous lines of John Milton from Paradise Lost- "Long is the way and hard, that out of hell leads up to light."
Well long and hard it may be, but these ambitious youngsters will surely see the light.

Let us be

Colors of Life

If you do what you have always done,
You will get what you have always got.

To achieve something
You have never achieved before,
You must do something
You have never done before.

So, here I go adding colors to life day after day with Vistas of Life.

The Beginning

My excitement at the realization of having the freedom to experiment and to renew my surroundings and teaching techniques has urged me to create this blog.
Perhaps I started this with a get-up-and-go approach...
I am quite positive that it is going to last, for , as it is not a destination, but a journey.

Looking forward to meet many like-minded people!
